Defibrillators

Most people would straightforwardly prefer to just pay for their own ‘Street Bought Defibrillator, to cover their own street – if this is for you, click: http://youtu.be/x7lBRD9fo5I ‘The Importance of Street Bought Defibrillators’

But if you are more socially minded and want to do good for others, you could choose the following way of boosting defibrillators to save more lives:

As a stimulus to each other, we recommend ‘Round-Robin Giving’; of things like FREE street defibrillators and robotic hands for amputees…

e.g. As suggested in our ‘Street Shock’ video http://youtu.be/ULjMpnwpIOQ , neighbours in each street that receive a FREE defibrillator – (to be available to save the lives of 22,000 UK people annually at home, after a cardiac arrest); repeat the favour of ‘giving’, or helping to arrange a FREE defibrillator for the next street. Two for one value! Click:funerals deposits to fund defibrillators.

( N.B. IF SUPPORTING A DEFIBRILLATOR – local IOU  VOUCHERS WILL BE GIVEN, WHICH CAN BE USED LATER TO PART-FUND OTHER THINGS YOU NEED).

OUR UK-WIDE AMBITION

Eventually providing a ‘life-saving’ defibrillator to each street in Britain; saving lives by the quickest practical route.

NB Community located defibrillators waste too much valuable time. The journey and time taken to obtain a release code by a phone call, eating into the vital 4-5 minute ‘best’ window, for a cardiac arrest victim to be given a heart shock, that’s needed to restore a heart beat.

Here are the facts: In Britain around 100,000 UK people a year die from cardiac arrests – only 10% are saved – i.e. 250 die every day; because a defibrillator was not used in time (according to statistics listed, on latest St. John Ambulance, ‘sudden cardiac arrest ‘the facts’ web item)!!

Let’s give ourselves a chanceby getting a defibrillator for every UK street. Letter to neighbours blank

Round-robin giving in many other circumstances too. Like giving hand amputees FREE robotic hands made individually to fit them. (Produced from a design created by Open Bionics).

The moral responsibility of thanking someone for a gift, by giving the same to others – is very powerful.

It also takes away the problem of decisions to provide for yourself!

Giving to others, whilst being given too by a different set of people is a ‘win-win’ for everyone – starting with the possibility to create FREE defibrillators, then FREE robotic hands!
